Co-Created by Casey Powell, Speed Lacrosse is a 3v3 game played on a 40x20 yard field. There are no long poles used and no equipment, just need a stick and a mouthpiece. The game focuses on athleticism, stick skills, play making and most importantly, having FUN!It is a great off-season game to play to keep your stick skills sharp and work in some conditioning as well. The game encourages off-ball play, communication and hustle. The Tournament consists of 3 periods, each being 5 minutes running time. Ties will be settled with a shootout similar to hockey until one team wins a frame. Every 2 mins each team subs on the fly. Games last 15 minutes and each team is guaranteed min 3 games.A team parent or volunteer must register a team in order to secure a spot. Team parent/volunteer will coordinate who is on the team they created.Players can request to play on team with friends, please indicate this in the comments section, along with the name or names of the other children with whom you wish to be partnered. (4 players min per team and 5 players max per team) No Coaches - The Official Court Guard will enforce the rules and coach both teams when needed. All parents shall refrain from screaming at anyone or be subject to removal.Each team must have at least 4 players and will NOT exceed 5 players.
